As a soldier, a marathoner, ironman triathlete or hiker, nothing is extreme enough. Finish lines are great, but the true adventure is what it takes to get to the starting line.

Ewwwwwwwww. I agree with Wil! Anyway, my marathon toenails usually don't actually fall off - they just end up as a painful flap that I have to cut off or it catches on the sock all the time. Maybe if I were truly hardcore I'd have toenails actually fall off in my shoes.
