Apparently the above folks don't know we have an intervention going on here...don't "kick butt" or "kick ass" take care of that leg and go easy-especially with the altitude-the worse thing that can happen is to get mentally fried right now in addition to injuries-if you push too hard, and stress your brain too much (especially in light of the stress of the week) you run the risk of burning out. You've got the toughest hill of training yet to climb, and it's over 3 months long- and if Mo goes into the hospital, turn that car around and go home-that little guy needs his dad around if he's in the hospital, even if he is driving the med staff nuts. It's just a race Comm, just a race. Ok, I'm done sounding like a mom- prayers for you and the family, and a hug for Mistress when you see her.
I've been pushing the limits of my endurance my whole life. I've been called a UNcommon man for my relentless pursuit of doing something bigger than I (or most) could possibly imagine. As a soldier, a marathoner, ironman triathlete or hiker, nothing is extreme enough. Finish lines are great, but the true adventure is what it takes to get to the starting line.

kick ass bro. Glad to see you are going. Have a good race. Watch for a plane going over top of you at about 6:30, I'll be looking down.
