Well it's the first 80 degree day of the year. Hallelujah! Its too good a thing to pass up so I ditched a little early to get in a brick. A solid 25 mile hill ride followed by a 2 mile run.
That sounds glorious! Yesterday I was watching it snow while I got a diagnosis of patello-femoral syndrome for my little knee problem. What I wouldn't give for even another 40-degree day to go for a ride on!
I've been pushing the limits of my endurance my whole life. I've been called a UNcommon man for my relentless pursuit of doing something bigger than I (or most) could possibly imagine. As a soldier, a marathoner, ironman triathlete or hiker, nothing is extreme enough. Finish lines are great, but the true adventure is what it takes to get to the starting line.
